Gift Ideas For RVers

People often ask us for gift ideas for full-time RVers or travelers. We obviously don’t have a ton of space, so many typical gifts simply aren’t ideal for RVers. Most full-time RVers value experiences over things, so here are some gift ideas for RVers, or anyone who values experiences experiences over things!

Parks Pass

Anyone who travels probably enjoys parks. For National Park lovers, an America The Beautiful Pass gets an entire family into any national park for an entire year. At $80, it easily pays for itself quickly.

For anyone who spends a lot of time in one particular state, a state park pass can save them entrance fees and be a great gift.

Camping Membership

We have several camping memberships that save us tons of money with the cost of RV Parks and campgrounds. Click HERE to read about them in detail.

Museum Membership

Museums are a huge part of our life, and our reciprocal museum pass has been awesome. You can purchase a membership online through Kern County Museum and the travel membership that is $125 gives 2 adults and up to 4 kids free admission to over 1,000 museums nationwide!

Movie Passes

Even travelers enjoy going to the movies on a cold or rainy day! Movie passes to a chain of theaters gives the recipient the freedom to choose whatever movie(s) they want to see.

Amusement park passes

Many full time travelers spend the winters in Florida. Gifting someone an amusement park pass or even a season pass is an excellent idea! (Disney, Legoland, etc.)

Gift Certificates

Rvers often don’t get pampered, so a gift certificate for something like a manicure, massage, facial or hair salon is a great idea. You can also get certificates for classes or lessons such as cooking classes, dancing lessons, etc. You can send someone on a helicopter ride, hot air balloon ride, or on some type of tour! A Groupon gift card allows the recipient to choose exactly what they want to experience!

Tickets

Concert or event tickets are sure to bring joy to music or sports fans. Show tickets are great for a night out in the city, and even airline tickets make for a fun getaway that anyone would appreciate!

Gift Cards

Gift cards obviously aren’t always experiences, but they can be. A restaurant gift card is an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys eating out.

They are also a great idea for one who has to be very choosy about what they purchase! By giving a gift card, the recipient can mindfully pick something that they have space for and would really enjoy.

What types of gift cards? Here are a few ideas:

  • Camping World (this place has RV necessities and accessories out the WAzoo!)

  • Cabellas (so much outdoorsy and camping gear- including clothing)

  • Target

  • Starbucks

  • Amazon

… just to name a few!

Hopefully this list of gift ideas will help you buy for the Rver in your life. It’s a great list for anyone who values experiences over things. I hope this helps you pick that special, unique but useful gift for that special someone.
